Manual filter press is a kind of intermittent pressure filter equipment, used for solid-liquid separation of various suspensions. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, dye, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, food, papermaking and sewage treatment and other fields that require solid-liquid separation. It is suitable for small-scale filtration industries. Generally, the pressure is relatively low, and the filtration pressure is less than 0.4Mpa. The filter press is mainly composed of three parts, namely: the frame part, the filter part, and the compression device.

Working principle: the suspension is pumped into each closed filter chamber of the filter. Under the action of working pressure, the filtrate passes through the filter membrane or other filter materials and is discharged through the liquid outlet, while the filter residue is left in the frame, forming filter cake, thus achieving solid-liquid separation.
